Area Sales Manager (m/f) Travel Retail Western Europe and America
located in Luxembourg

Your role:
• negotiate client agreements per area according to HARIBO conditions
• monitor selling processes within the area, including orders and promotional agreements
• plan and realize sales activities in the area in consideration of marketing and trade marketing guidelines
• manage customer, market and consumer data, conduct product and competitor analysis and implement market development measures
• prepare price analysis and price recommendations as well as forecasts per client and area in consideration of deliveries upon forecast from the sales team
• monitor incoterms of clients
• take charge of client invoicing in cooperation with the Customer Service team
• support the sales director by setting up campaign budgets

Your profile:
• completed commercial apprenticeship and/or a university degree in business sciences
• several years of relevant experience in sales or travel retail in an international company that produces branded goods, preferably in the food production industry
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish and French; German language abilities are desirable
• familiarity with Microsoft Office
• confident attitude and structured, analytical way of working with excellent problem-solving abilities
• high motivation and job performance
• effective organizational skills, flexibility and the ability to work under time-related pressure
• willingness to travel extensively

Your role:
• carry out the innovation process of the Travel Retail area in accordance with marketing guidelines and in cooperation with the international Marketing department of the HARIBO holding
• manage the launch of non-food products in travel retail with the head of Travel Retail
• analyze the market and new trends in travel retail and formulate recommendations for action
• create and implement long-, medium- and short-term concepts in consultation with the head of Travel Retail
• develop a promotional campaign plan for Travel Retail
• take charge of the design and roll-out of POS material
• monitor media measures, especially print media, with media clients and in cooperation with the international Media and Public Relations department
• maintain the Travel Retail online catalogue in consideration of marketing guidelines

Your profile:

Now we want to start entering the APAC region and are looking for an AREA DIRECTOR APAC.

This is a permanent role, preferably based in Hong Kong, with travel across the region.

Your Responsibilities:
This role is tasked to implement the brand successfully into all relevant sales channels within APAC Travel Retail / Duty Free and build persistent customer relationships.
Key is to gain visibility, activate the brand and leave a long lasting footprint in this region.

Main Responsibilities are:
• Sales management of international travel retail clients and their sales points throughout APAC
• Business development and optimization of the TR distribution network
• Define, adapt and execute the assortment, pricing and investment strategy for APAC
• Optimize and establish contact and exchange with the Beiersdorf affiliates and the global HQs

Your skills:
You will have proven experience in sales, ideally some of which will have been in Travel Retail. Knowledge and experience of selling to Asia Pacific Travel Retail, especially Perfume & Cosmetic Buyers would be advantageous. You will be fluent in English whilst possessing Mandarin or a second Asian language would be an asset.
