NIVEA Global Travel Retail was established in 2010 and has made good progress in EMEA in the past years.
Now we want to start entering the APAC region and are looking for an AREA DIRECTOR APAC.
This is a permanent role, preferably based in Hong Kong, with travel across the region.
This role is tasked to implement the brand successfully into all relevant sales channels within APAC Travel Retail / Duty Free and build persistent customer relationships.
Key is to gain visibility, activate the brand and leave a long lasting footprint in this region.
Main Responsibilities are:
• Sales management of international travel retail clients and their sales points throughout APAC
• Business development and optimization of the TR distribution network
• Define, adapt and execute the assortment, pricing and investment strategy for APAC
• Optimize and establish contact and exchange with the Beiersdorf affiliates and the global HQs
You will have proven experience in sales, ideally some of which will have been in Travel Retail. Knowledge and experience of selling to Asia Pacific Travel Retail, especially Perfume & Cosmetic Buyers would be advantageous. You will be fluent in English whilst possessing Mandarin or a second Asian language would be an asset.
