The Regional Director is responsible for developing the business of the company within the Asia-Pacific Domestic and Travel Retail markets. The ability to work independently and efficiently in order to achieve predetermined business objectives is essential.
Responsible for developing strong relationship(s) to achieve budgeted sales, generate incremental volume, improve visibility and drive distribution. This role is an essential interface between the customers and the business. Coordinates and executes promotional programs as required to maximize volume and profit growth.
We are looking for a sales professional with a passion for international distribution, domestic markets or travel retail with a strong knowledge of regional beer, wines & spirits channels.
Managing and developing Distributors within a geographic area: Asia Pacific
Building and developing customer relationships.
Seek and explore new business potential in line with company expectations.
Deliver volume, market share and profit as per budget.
Work closely and cross-functionally with local market distributor contacts and head office teams.
Relevant daily contact with all stakeholders related to the companys business in the region.
Support & training of the distributors sales, marketing or management teams.
Participation in relevant Trade Events as determined
- 3- 5 years commercial experience in a managerial position preferably in key account management and in the beverage alcohol segment.
- Global travel retail experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, customer relationship and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently while being results-oriented.
- Written and spoken fluency in English and at least one key local language.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
- Excellent with MS Office, Excel,
- Familiar with multicultural and international environments
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Well-developed presentation and communication skills
